What is the best operating system and why? Also, what is the top of the range "of computer Portable "in that class. Detailed answers appreciated! Thanks

Top of the line Mac Book Pro – very expensive, unless you go to play graphics-intensive games or doing serious multimedia work (HUD Final Cut, opening, photo shop) is not necessary that in all likelihood. Includes: iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, iDVD, iChat, grageband, and iWeb. If you are familiar iTunes, other programs are so intuitive and useful, if not more. If you do any digital photography, iPhoto is invaluable. iMovie lets you edit digital movies, and if you do not have a digital camcorder, do not worry. Your Mac has one built in iDVD is similar to Sonic or Nero, and helps you to burn DVDs with menus and professional degrees. iChat is a messaging system that uses AIM. Mac, or on the online screen names. is also a platform for video chat so you can use the built-in web cam. iWeb is a web design software. grageband is a complete audio editor that I find myself using much more than I thought it would. Firewalls Mac, and other characteristics are more or less impenetrable, so do not worry about spyware, adware and viruses. 3. You can have Windows and enjoy their few points (native office, games, software availability for older etc) and the benefits of OS X on the same computer. 4. – Customer service from Apple is awesome – that replacing a faulty power adapter in 5 minutes for me without ask questions.
